Role Summary:

The Plant Finance Manager will work closely with the Plant Manager and Operating team to ensure all financial initiatives are met for the Lukfin, Texas operation (located 125 miles from Houston). This role will be responsible for closing cycles, reporting, annual budget preparation, controllership fundamentals, and coordinating finance-related activities across Supply Chain and FP&A functions. You will utilize your experience and creativity to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for yourself and others, and drive business goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Plant Finance Manager, you will:

  • Serve as a key business partner to the Operating team leaders to drive growth and profitability, identify financial risks, and develop and implement mitigation strategies
  • Lead initiatives designed to generate productivity, cost out, inventory utilization, and cash generation
  • Lead monthly closing and manage periodic financial reviews and reporting processes
  • Own financial performance with a relentless pursuit of accuracy; question assumptions, calculations, compliance, etc.
  • Analyze receivables performance and propose action plans to improve turnover
  • Support Sales with revenue and cost estimation on active bids and provide orders analytics
  • Manage the controllership aspects of a manufacturing site including but not limited to annual physical inventory, setting annual OCPH rates, calculating warranty reserves, and obsolescence
  • Ensure compliance with BHGE practices and processes including BHGE's commitment to integrity


  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance - Functional Management

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Travel ~50% of the time if located outside Houston, as required

  • Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues in a compliant manner
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and continuously exhibit clear and critical thinking
  • Experience successfully communicating with senior leaders, functional management teams, and direct reports, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong teamwork and ability to drive change across functions and departments within BHGE
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification or equivalent quality certification
  • Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and interactions with others
  • Knowledge of SAP and data management programs
  • Experience managing and coaching others
