JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Prepare and analyze manufacturing financial results;
  2. Prepare product cost estimates
  3. Analyze project cost impacts to manufacturing
  4. Maintain material master, material costs, manufacturing standards
  5. Coordinate the forecast/plan process from the GL and systems perspective;
  6. Maintain internal controls; assist with internal and external audit in a SOX compliant environment
  7. Hire, train and supervise accounting staff;
  8. Other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years related experience in a manufacturing environment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and in group situations. Ability to respond to questions from internal/external customers/vendors at all levels including management.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, fractions, ratios. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

REASONING ABILITY:Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to provide solutions to problems.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Strong leadership ability; Excellent communication, organization, prioritization, interpersonal, and analytical skills; Attention to detail; Strong technology skills in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems, knowledge of SAP a plus; In-depth knowledge of US GAAP specific to position.
