Seeking Electrical Engineer to identify areas of pipelines under risk of AC interference and induced AC corrosion, develop AC interference models, and design AC mitigation systems to reduce risk of lethal shocks and accelerated corrosion.


***Investigate possible inductive & resistive interference scenarios including; maximum and nominal steady-state load of power line; one and three-phase conductor faults; lightning strikes on the power transmission tower; or similar potentially catastrophic scenarios.


*** Determine level of AC interference in relation to touch potentials on the pipeline, soil potential rise, step potentials, and coating stress.


*** Conduct post installation surveys to study impact of modifications to pipeline network on AC Mitigation.


*** Fix amount and locations of AC drainage systems.
