JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Personal Investing finance team is looking for a Financial Analyst IV whose skills and experience will contribute to the technology team’s success while supporting Personal Investing’s financial objectives.

Reporting to the head of finance for PI Technology and Marketing, you will support critical strategies to transform our technology team’s delivery and operations, as well as initiatives to advance digital capabilities such as cloud computing and big data. This role works closely with technology partners, operations & planning teams and finance partners across Fidelity providing financial decision support, planning direction and business analytics.

Personal Investing (PI) is a division of Fidelity Investments that provides a full range of investment products and services directly to individual brokerage and mutual fund customers. PI’s technology business unit develops a broad range of technology solutions for Fidelity customers as well as sales and service functions. The finance team is looking for a talented and ambitious Financial Analyst IV whose skills and experience will contribute to the technology group’s success while meeting Personal Investing’s financial objectives.

The Expertise You Have

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting - Master’s Degree in Business/Finance preferred
• 5+ years of financial planning and analysis experience
• Strong strategic and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial acumen
• Prior finance experience in technology is a plus

The Value You Deliver

• Leading, as a key team member, the annual budget and MYP for the technology business unit
• Working one-on-one and in teams to develop business cases and ROIs supporting investment decision making
• Helping our technology partners execute on budget plans and effectively manage investment funding
• Ensure appropriate policies, procedures, and controls are in place
• Collaborating with technology operations and the Chapter Leads to deliver an integrated support structure for our technology partners
• Understanding the technology domain in order to participate in discussions, planning, and provide feedback to help drive the business unit forward
• Coordinating with Fidelity corporate functions including, but not limited to, Enterprise Technology, Global Services, and Procurement
• Providing ad hoc analysis for the CIO and members of the technology management team
• Developing in-depth analyses and insights of the underlying expense structure
• Creating presentation ready materials to effectively convey financial results, insights and recommendations
• Contributing to the finance community with your energy, enthusiasm, and team spirit
