The PhysicianRecruitersupports UHS Behavioral Health Division facilities with their physician recruitment efforts through sourcing and screening of potential physician candidates identified through the use of internal and external resources as provided by UHS. Regularly contacts facility CEOs and/or designated staff in the facility managing recruitment. Obtains relevant information regarding recruiting assignments from these relationships and receives direction and feedback during the course of the recruitment. Submits potential qualified candidates for consideration and manages the candidate activity process to its end with both the hospital and physician candidates. Maintains document records of all activity in a timely manner for reporting and reports all activity updates as needed. Participates in assigned professional meetings and careers fairs for recruitment. Initiates, develops strategy planning and manages activity for assigned residency program recruitment activity and candidate tracking data base as required.
Essential Job Duties:
Initiates and manages full cycle physician recruitment process for assigned hospitals:
- development of position profile
- strategy development and activity for sourcing of qualified candidates
- contact and presentation of practice information to candidates
- coordination of communications and submittals to hospitals managing full cycle of activity with all parties involved to closure
