Job Description Flagler pediatrics seeks to employ only the highest qualified candidates with values and principles that align with and promote the Flagler Hospital mission and vision. These physicians will be the foundation of the hospital's ambulatory practices and are, in most cases, the gatekeepers to care in the community. Flagler Hospital has long been the provider of high quality health care and looks to enhance the community's access to excellent care through expansion of its ambulatory presence.

Flagler pediatric physicians will be responsible for the delivery of high quality health care through developing and harnessing collaborative care teams to best serve the patient, in the most cost effective and appropriate way. Collaborative care teams include the direct or indirect supervision of advanced practitioners and other licensed team members in the ambulatory setting. Managing patient care through appropriate use of available resources, including available technology and technologic platforms will be essential. In addition, development and planning of efficient practice operations to help ensure appropriate same-day patient access to outpatient medical care.

Flagler pediatric physicians will be expected to systematically assess patients' health status, arrive at appropriate diagnosis(es), and implement care plan(s) or effective clinical outcomes while meeting or exceeding quality metrics. Additionally, pediatric physicians will provide an array of high quality health services that fall under their field of training, including but not limited to diagnosis and treatment, coordination of care, preventive care and health maintenance to patients. They will facilitate the patient's transition within and between health care settings while educating and encouraging patients and families to become active participants in their own healthcare. Documentation requirements will include onsite/in office procedures, prescriptions, consultations, and all other patient contacts in the patient's medical record according to established guidelines to facilitate ongoing quality care, in a timely manner.

In return for the aforementioned duties and requirements, Flagler Hospital is prepared to offer a competitive base salary with the opportunity to earn two ongoing bonuses: quality and engagement bonus and productivity based bonus. Additionally, the availability of a sign on bonus and tuition payment assistance are available.
