Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital in Danville, Pennsylvania, is seeking a BC/BE, full-time Pediatric Trauma Program Director to join Geisinger Medical Center’s Department of Surgery. This position will oversee our Pediatric Trauma program and be a split role with clinical and program director leadership responsibilities.

• Individual will lead our Pediatric Trauma program
• Oversight of our Level II pediatric trauma center
• Opportunity for TEACHING medical students and surgical and pediatric residents
• NSQIP- Pediatric center and robust PIPs program seeking ACS Children’s Surgery verification
• Clinical RESEARCH opportunities are available
• In 2020, Geisinger Medical Center admitted over 560 pediatric injury patients under the age of 18 years, admitted for care and observation. Approximately 475 of the patients are under the age of 15 years
• Supported by a full complement of pediatric medical/surgical subspecialties
