Job Description

SUMMARY:

Delivers specialty care for Pediatric Pulmonology care to new and established pediatric patients in accordance with the licensure and the highest standards of quality, integrity and compassion.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Pediatric Pulmonology treats patients up to 21 years of age with the following but not limited to conditions:


Chronic cough

Difficulty breathing

Recurring pneumonia (infection of the lungs)

Asthma (chronic inflammation of the airways)

Cystic fibrosis

Apnea

Chronic lung disease

Conditions that require special equipment to monitor and/or help with breathing

Delivers healthcare in a professional manner that strives to meet or exceed those criteria set forth by NCQA, OSHA, CLIA, JCAHO, as well as the internal standards that seek continuous quality improvements.
