Physician - Pediatric Neurology
Responsible for the overall health care of pediatric patients requiring neurology care both in the inpatient and outpatient setting. The physician will participate in and expand the division of pediatric neurology services.In addition, will participate in resident and student education, on assigned committees, chart audits and peer review; participates in in-service education and case conferences; prepares forms and patient summaries as required; reviews laboratory, x-ray, EEG and video EEGand all ordered diagnostic tests; performs other medical duties as assigned and attends grand rounds at GSHMC as appropriate.
MD/DO degree from an approved medical school. Must be fellowship trained in pediatric neurology and be board certified in neurology with special qualifications in pediatric neurology. Additional qualifications of board certification or eligibility in Clinical Neurophysiology as well as Clinical Epilepsy boards desirable. Must be licensed and with current registration certificate to practice medicine in the State of New York. Eligible for appointment to the Medical Staff of Good Samaritan Hospital and must apply to the same
