This individual will be competent in the management of benign and malignant hematology and common pediatric oncologic diagnoses.
Dartmouth Health Children's provides an extended system of care with primary, specialty, and advanced tertiary pediatric services, including an inpatient pediatric unit with PICU, level II Pediatric Trauma Center, and level III NICU at its flagship Children's Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (CHaD). Dartmouth Health Children's also operates a comprehensive ambulatory specialty center at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinic in Manchester, the largest city in the state, and 10 pediatric primary care medical homes across the region. The Section of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology provides a full range of services at DH-Lebanon and DH-Manchester. DH is a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and is a member of the Children's Oncology Group. We are a federally designated Hemophilia Treatment Center and a member of the New England Sickle Cell Consortium.
Teaching residents and medical students is expected, so eligibility for appointment to the faculty at The Geisel School of Medicine is required, at a rank commensurate with experience and academic portfolio.
