Grand View Health is a growing Community Hospital and Level II Trauma Center. We are committed to providing the highest quality care to the patients we serve.
Located in Upper Bucks County, Grand View Health is a well-established, independent hospital offering a full range of health care services. In 2023, GVH opened a state-of-the-art 6 story Pavilion, adjacent to our 110+ year hospital. This Pavilion houses 10 new oversized ORs, with two daVinci robots.

Responsibilities
The Physician Assistant will work within the Surgery department.
Coverage for Surgical staff on a per diem basis. Hours are flexible.
Most surgeries are Monday - Friday days.
Need coverage 4 weeknights per month and one weekend.Surgical specialities include but not limited to general, vascular, colorectal, breast, plastics, OB, and robotics.
The physician assistant will be categorized as being on the Dependent Specified Professional Personnel Staff and will be subject to all definitions, privileges, and responsibilities found in the Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations pertaining to that category. The physician assistant will assist in surgery under the direct supervision of the surgeon.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Master's Degree graduate of an AMA-accredited Physician Assistant Program required
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong OR presence and competency
- Robotic training is a plus, but will train
- Ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment
- Demonstrated problem solving skills, required
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills, required
- Ability to work as part of a team, required
- Ability to maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality, required
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines, high volumes and multiple interruptions, required
- Quickly troublseshoots and resolves problems, required
- Possesses strong technical aptitude, required
- Competency in the use of a variety of computer hardware and software systems, required
- Experience on Meditech EMR a plus, but will train
