Doctoral, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school and licensure by the Texas State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
The incumbent will serve as a Physical Therapist on a NIH-funded research study conducted at the University of Texas Health Science Center and at the South Texas Veterans Healthcare Systems (STVHCS) Polytrauma Rehabilitation Center (PRC), providing OT/PT for up to 5 hours per week as part of a NIH-funded study on rehabilitation for trauma-related chronic pain
Experience with polytrauma patient populations; functional restoration pain management models; eligible for credentialing through STVHC
Master’s degree in PT or a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of physical therapy with two years of experience in a hospital, home health or private office setting. Certified by the American Physical Therapy Association and Licensed by the Texas State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners is required
