PHP Web Developer: at Michigan Health Council in Okemos, MI

OVERVIEW:

The Michigan Health Council is a dynamic nonprofit that focuses on making great products and delivering services that support Michigan’s health care employers, educators, and professionals (present and future). One of these products is ACEMAPP, an online clinical education tool.

We are currently seeking a PHP Web Developer:

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Start Date (if hired): Immediate

Salary Range: Exempt position, competitive compensation based on qualifications & abilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES (IN COLLABORATION WITH THE MHC STAFF):

Develop, maintain and integrate complex web applications

Provide post implementation support

Modify and enhance existing PHP coded pages and content

Evaluate deliverables and implements solutions

Works with version control software and deploys jobs to environments

All other responsibilities presented as deemed necessary by direct supervisor

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Strong knowledge in PHP and MySQL

Basic understanding of Linux OS

Organized; expert at juggling many tasks and projects

Demonstrates consistent professional etiquette with clients and colleagues

Self-starter, strong sense of initiative, and ability to work in a team

Education or experience equivalent to what would be obtained through a formal degree
