Position Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Director of Pharmacy and the Assistant Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Operations Manager is responsible for the dispensing activities ensuring that standards are maintained and assists the Director/ ADOP in providing overall direction of the operation of the Pharmacy Department.  In the absence of the DOP/ ADOP, the supervisor assumes responsibility for the Department with consultation from the Chief Operating Officer as needed.

Minimum Experience:

Minimum of one (1) year of experience, preferable in a hospital environment.  ASHP accredited residency in Hospital Pharmacy Administration is desirable

Minimum Education:

Graduate of accredited College of Pharmacy.

Required Certification/License:

Current licensure from Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
