The Pharmacy Manager of Pharmacy Connect will be engaged in the planning and delivery of services to the specialist providers and patients in the medical professional building. The manager will also serve and the regulatory required “Supervising Pharmacist” and will be responsible for the oversight and management of the daily pharmacy operations, ensuring organizational policies and procedures are established, maintained and followed.
The manager will provide oversight for all staff activities of the registered establishment in conformance with all applicable New York State and Federal laws and regulations. They will be directly accountable for the practice of pharmacy. The manager must maintain awareness of all applicable laws and regulations, to ensure proper education and compliance of their team.
The manager will also ensure all customers are assisted with their health care needs, by the entire staff, which includes assisting the team with dispensing prescriptions, selecting the appropriate Over-the-Counter (OTC) product and providing excellent customer service as needed. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the success of the Pharmacy and the development of the Pharmacy Team.
