The Pharmacy Data Mining Analyst (DMA) will be part of a team that is responsible for production of claims to be investigated. This role is a crucial team member who will make sure our product is delivered weekly. The DMA will be tasked with implementation of new mining and client. Often, as mining results vary, this role will be tasked with research and discovery efforts to enhance mining. Pharmacy mining is a crucial link in the revenue chain and the DMA is a significant role.

Continuous communication with Data Mining Group leadership for new project and report assignments.
Be self-motivated to deliver results within defined time requirements.
Responsible for the proper communication and reporting regarding all aspects of each assignment.
Understanding business needs and objectives.
Developing strategies for effective data analysis and reporting.
Defining metrics and identifying relevant data sources.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, business, computer science or equivalent professional experience.
Three years of SQL experience with intermediate level SQL development skills including writing SQL code, extracting data, generating queries and reports, and integrating data between different data sources.
Experience with data analysis and reporting, and knowledge of data visualization software packages.
Aptitude to learn a business that is unique to The Rawlings Group.
Strong analytical mindset and communication skills.
Proactive, inquisitive and creative in approach to work.
Experience with building reports, analyzing results, and communicating findings.
Understanding of data structure/integration and relational database structures.
Ability to collaborate with partners and drive analytic projects end-to-end.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Advanced analytical skills.
Experience dealing with pharmacy claims.
Experience optimizing SQL queries.
