We are currently seeking an accomplished Pharmacoepidemiologist with national or international recognition for the position of Principal Scientist position in our Center for Health Sciences in one of our east coast offices (Boston, Washington, DC or Alexandria, VA) or in Menlo Park, California. In this role, you will work as part of a team to provide a high level of support to clients on projects involving pharmaceuticals and other regulated medical products, such as vaccines and medical devices. You will work as part of a team to identify opportunities, procure funding, and oversee complex epidemiologic evaluations. Your consulting portfolio will be informed by the work for which you are known throughout the field. The Center’s areas of focus include evaluation of reported adverse events and high-level associated regulatory consulting, innovative or complex studies of safety and comparative effectiveness of marketed medical products, and the use of novel sources of data and methodologies. As such, your work could include the application of epidemiological methods to the evaluation of adverse effects, critical review and synthesis of epidemiologic literature, design and conduct of epidemiological studies, and assisting clients with regulatory documents and strategies. You will have opportunities to collaborate with other groups throughout the company. The ideal candidate will lead and oversee projects, identify new clients, build on relationships with existing clients, and develop new business in pharmacoepidemiology and regulatory sciences.
