We are seeking a full time Staff Pharmacist to accurately fill prescriptions, provide exceptional care and service to our customers and clients, provide direction and guidance to supporting staff , perform marketing activities with sales staff and assist in networking with local physicians.
As a Staff Pharmacist, you have a critical role at the forefront of delivering our purpose, modeling our values, and demonstrating genuine, authentic care for our patients. In addition to supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing the Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, you are accountable for supporting the management, oversight and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy. A key component of the Staff Pharmacist role is keeping your customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs. Additionally, you will:

• Motivate, inspire and develop your Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments that maximize colleagues’ strengths, address development opportunities and decrease knowledge gaps

Required Qualifications
-2+ years as a pharmacist
-Active Pharmacist license in the District of Columbia. Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
-Ability to provide direction and feedback
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to solve complex problems with a solution oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialty Pharmacy experience
- Clinical knowledge and therapy management for Transplant, HIV, HCV, Oncology, Auto-Immune and others as needed
-Bilingual(Spanish)
-Previous experience in a leadership role
- Interest in leadership development
Education
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D. degree
