Reports to the Division Director and Operations Manager(s) for the assigned area. Monitors and supervises pharmacy technician daily activities. Makes necessary arrangements to keep workflow organized and efficient. Responsible for workingcollaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote wellness, maintain current health, and/or intervene in acute or chronic illness. Promotes the safe and effective use of medications by consulting with other health care professionals concerning problems.
This position requires graduation from an accredited college of Pharmacy resulting in a Pharm.D. degree or BS Degree. Candidates must have current licensure as a Pharmacist in the state of Maryland; Hospital and Departmental Education requirements completed within 90 days of hire. ACLS and/or PALS certification is desired. Previous health-system experience with responsibility for the supervisor of pharmacy personnel is desired.
