The Specialty Technology Advisor, Pharma Programs is responsible for providing project management, business analysis and relationship management activities associated with specialty program reporting to external pharmaceutical manufacturers. The advisor position involves direct oversight including, but not limited to:
Drives specialty technology solutions that meet business needs with consideration for time, schedule, and cost. Takes part in contract reviews and negotiations, acting as the subject matter expert in data and business/Operational process. Expected to act as a project manager as well as document business requirements based on contractual commitments. Works with business partners across IT, Trade, and Specialty Operations to define and clarify project scope. Focuses efforts on specialty pharma program reporting and data projects required in support of contractual commitments. Partners with IT to identify and execute deliverables based on project scope driven by contractual commitments. Owns the business delivery of the project Represents business interests in technology projects related to pharma reporting, providing business insight and a single point of contact for business throughout the project lifecycle. Creating / updating operational decision and infrastructure support tools including executive dashboards, reports, and templates. Supports / coaches other colleagues that are part of the project team to learn and apply skills directly tied to the project lifecycle. Acts as an application subject matter expert, provides guidance to more junior staff on system capabilities and enhancements Will partner with internal personnel to resolve production related issues for end users / clients. Use a consultative approach to ensure our internal and external client’s needs are being met; may support colleagues in training or working sessions to support internal / external clients.
5+ years experience in working in a professional services environment with internal client / stakeholder management, analytical skills, and application management.
A minimum of 2 years of project management experience overseeing technical / IT related initiatives.
A minimum of 2 years of requirement gathering and documentation for technical / IT related initiatives.
Specialty Pharmacy Dispensing Technology or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) experience desirable.
SQL development experience preferred.
Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, or related technical field required
Certifications in project management and/or process improvement desirable. Pharmacist credentials may be helpful, but not required.
