Job Title: Pega Technical Lead

Job Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Job Type: Contract 12 Months

Job Description:

Primary Skills:

  • PEGA, with Pega version (v5.x, v6.x, 7.x),PEGA PRPC and CPMHC frameworks, Java, Integration[SOAP/XML/REST/JMS], web service design

Secondary Skills:

  • ITIL, Production Support

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Requirements analysis with customer
  • Inputs to Estimation,Involve in engineering activities of the project
  • Allocate responsibilities for design, implementation and testing of various modules to appropriate project engineers
  • Technical decisions related to the project, Organize review of designs, code and test plans
  • Ensure change management and change evaluation.
  • All issues tracking and closure – Requirements, Defects, technical issues
  • Traceability matrix maintenance, Track defects in the project and identify root causes
  • Monitor & Analyze capacity and availability Management
  • Report capacity and availability Management performance
  • Identify process improvements wherever possible
  • Understand the Quality policy and meet the Quality objectives
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, internal and external audits/assessments

Experience and Exposure Required:

  • 5-7 years of development experience in Enterprise Pega Applications
  • Responsible for architecting and designing business process management applications using PEGA PRPC and CPMHC frameworks
  • Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with application quality, coding, UI and Corporate standards, including review alert logs, running pre-flight and PAL.
  • Adhere to Pega systems design principles and development guardrails, and enforce best practices in PEGA architecture / design / coding
  • Expertise in developing various PRPC component flows, flow actions, assignments, declarative rules, reports, activities and correspondence templates
  • Expertise in user Interface with Flow Actions, Harness and Section rules defining rules, creating classes, developing HTML streams, using Pega's connectors (MQ, Email , File , Database)
  • Extensive experience in Java, Integration[SOAP/XML/REST/JMS], web service design and development
  • Expertise with Pega version (v5.x, v6.x, 7.x)
  • Must Have: Pega CSSA certification for v6.x or higher
  • Good To Have: Experience in Pega CPM HC Framework
  • Experience in Pega Implementation in Healthcare Domain an added advantage
  • Expertise in Weblogic Server Configurations, Deployments and Database Queries
  • Expertise as Module Lead and leading a Team of developers for implemention
  • Around 5-7 years of development experience in Enterprise Pega Applications
  • Must Have: Agile Knowledge in project execution
