About the Hospital
Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital offers a full range of emergency, diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitation services in a newly updated facility. The nonprofit, 45-bed acute care hospital has more than 50 specialists in the Manistee area proving a wide range of care to the community. Munson Healthcare is a network of nine hospitals that serves 30 counties in northern Michigan. The system of nationally recognized hospitals includes a major tertiary referral medical center and Level II Trauma Center. Munson Healthcare’s hospitals have advanced and sophisticated technology, and employ more than 1,000 physicians representing 76 specialties.
About the Community
Manistee’s service area has a population of about 27,000 residents. It is located 60 miles south of Traverse City in northwest lower Michigan and is a four-season resort community.
