The division provides a full range of clinical services (in-patient and out-patient) and diagnostic assessments including pulmonary function testing, bronchoscopy services and sleep studies in the Children’s Hospital University of Illinois (CHUI). CHUI is a hospital within the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System and is the primary teaching hospital of the University of Illinois at Chicago and includes all pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties. Participation in the educational program for residents, fellows, nurses and medical students is essential. There is excellent opportunity for clinical and basic sciences research.
Candidates with administrative experience may be considered for the position of Division Chief. Rank, tenure status and salary will be commensurate with training and experience.
M.D. or equivalent terminal medical degree
Current Illinois medical license or eligible to obtain license to practice medicine in the State of Illinois
Board-certified in General Pediatrics and Board-certified/eligible in Pediatric Pulmonary or Sleep Medicine
Candidates for Division Chief should have at least one year of administrative experience
