The Behavioral Health Division at Nemours Children’s Hospital (NCH) in Orlando, FL is currently accepting applications for a PEDIATRIC PSYCHOLOGIST.

This clinical position will provide outpatient therapy to patients referred by medical subspecialty clinics, as well as inpatient consultation/liaison services. The psychologist will also be encouraged to have an academic appointment through the University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Medicine, and will contribute to training and supervision of practicum students from the UCF APA-accredited Clinical Psychology Program and medical students and residents from the UCF College of Medicine. Educational opportunities such as continuing education presentations, Grand Rounds, and multidisciplinary rounds also are available.

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. clinical psychology, pediatric psychology, or child clinical psychology from an APA-approved program
  • Completed pre-doctoral Internship at an APA-approved site
  • At least one year of postdoctoral experience in pediatric psychology
  • Prior experience in C/L is preferred
  • Applicants must be licensed or license-eligible in Florida.

The NCH Division of Behavioral Health includes 4 pediatric psychologists, 2 psychiatrists, and 3 Licensed Clinical Therapists. The Division of Behavioral Health is part of the Department of Pediatrics and works closely with our medical subspecialty clinics including Neurology, Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology, Endocrinology, Pulmonology, Anesthesiology, and others. NCH is located in Lake Nona Medical City in Southeast Orlando, Florida, and is a state-of-the art, free standing children’s hospital with a full breadth of pediatric specialties.
