The Nemours Children’s Health System is searching for an ABR-certified or eligible radiologist with pediatric radiology fellowship training and interventional radiology fellowship training to join our faculty based at the Nemours Children’s Specialty Care and Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville Florida in July, 2018. Qualified candidates should have solid skills in the interpretation of all diagnostic pediatric radiology exams, performance of interventional radiology procedures, excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, and the desire to collaborate with clinicians to deliver the best in imaging care. Academic appointment at the Mayo Clinic Jacksonville will be recommended commensurate withthe successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Nemours Radiology provides full pediatric imaging services (diagnostic and interventional) for the Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE, Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando, FL, Nemours Children’s Specialty Care in Jacksonville, FL, Nemours Children’s Clinic in Pensacola, FL, as well as staffs pediatric radiology at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, FL.
Nemours Radiology services are integrated within a single PACS with faculty working from common work-lists. In 2016, over 285,000 imaging examinations were performed in the system. Faculty are licensed in Delaware, Florida, New Jersey & Pennsylvania and credentialed throughout the system. By creating an integrated Nemours-wide Radiology department, there is now a critical mass of 34 pediatric radiologists, including 7 pediatric interventional radiologists, making it one of the largest pediatric radiology faculty in the nation. This critical mass has enabled marked improvement in report turn-around times, increased sub-specialization, dramatic increase in academic productivity, and work on system-wide quality improvement and safety initiates. Additionally, in 2016, the department implemented 24/7 in-house attending coverage with night duties shared among three dedicated night radiologists.
