Atrium Health Levine Children’s is seeking a physician who is board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine to join their team of 50+ faculty pediatric hospitalist providers on staff. To be board eligible candidates must have been working as a pediatric hospitalist since 2019, or have completed a Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship.
This position will be split between the brand new Atrium Health Union West (Matthews, NC) and Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital (Charlotte, NC). The new physician will cover approximately 7-8 24-hour shifts per month at Atrium Health Union West and approximately 5 nocturnist shifts (7pm – 8am) per month at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital.
In order to bring high quality, convenient access to care for the residents of western Union County, Atrium Health is building a new hospital campus. Opening early 2022, Atrium Health Union West will be located at the intersection of Independence Boulevard/Highway 74 and Stallings Road in Stallings, NC. The hospital will offer emergency, inpatient and outpatient care in Union County to better support the needs of the community. The pediatric hospitalists at this location will be covering labor & delivery and well baby nursery. There will be no specialty care nursery or in-patient pediatrics on site.
