Responsible for the analysis and development of the Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) pricing strategy.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Evaluates pricing position, assists with claims analysis, documents new optics, conducts optics training, and ensures proper language is covered in request for proposals and contracts. Collaborate with sales and account management teams to explain pricing decisions and client trends. Assists with developing and supporting key metrics and establishing performance measures for revenue maximization. Assists with monitoring and evaluating revenue performing below thresholds and developing necessary tasks to bring performance in line with targets. Serves as key member of support team in planning for future revenue, member expansion and growth capacity.
Requires a BA/BS in Finance or related field; 10+ years of experience with a PBM, pricing, data analysis; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA preferred.
