Job Description

Based in our Vancouver office, the Payroll & Benefits Manager will be responsible for leading, directing and managing Klohn Crippen Berger's global payroll and benefits administration activities and personnel as they relate to employee performance and company goals. The position reports to the VP Finance and partners extensively with our HR team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees, reviews and approves global payrolls to ensure payments to employees, governments and other stakeholders are paid accurately e.g. Canada, Australia, Peru, Brazil, US, UK, Papua New Guinea
  • Provide training, leadership, direction and mentoring to the Payroll and Benefit teams, developing performance objectives and conducting performance appraisals with direct reports
  • Ensure government taxes, insurance premiums, long service leave and payroll taxes are paid as required
