Title:                        Payroll Analyst Sr.

Location:                Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Description:

This position will act as a back-up leading and supporting day-to-day payroll operations.

Payroll Leadership:

Supports payroll team and provides leadership and guidance to payroll processing and day to day activities

Work with employees at all levels of the organization on a confidential and professional basis

Maintain an organization with focus on excellence in customer service

Payroll Operations:

Maintain and control payroll systems, build and maintain comprehensive audit and end-to-end reconciliation processes to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing with goal of zero pay errors

Manage third party payroll system access and security

Supports and acts as backup to all payroll processing activities

Provides analysis, support and solutions to payroll team and other departments on various payroll related issues

 Maintains files and records related to payroll processing activities and in accordance with records retention policies

Develop and enforce operating procedures and systems to process a central payroll with input from remotelocations

Provide reporting as needed to Stakeholders

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll withholding payments and reporting requirements

Payroll Certifications:

Certified Payroll user on requisite Time and Pay related systems

 Certified Payroll Professional

 

Experience Requirements:

This position requires a BA or BS preferably in Human Resources or Business -OR- equivalent experience in a related field, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience

Working knowledge of end to end HR and payroll transactional processes

Experience in payroll administration

Demonstrated ability to partner and build collaborative relationships with internal partners (HR Business Services, Total Rewards, Legal, Finance)

Strong organizational skills, work accuracy and able to work independently, while also being a strong team player

 Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with all levels within the company and provide excellent customer service

Understanding of continuous improvement concepts, tools and processes and six sigma practices

Proficiency in developing and maintaining human resources reports of varying complexity relative to the day-to-day operations of the business e.g., employee data, headcount, weekly flashreports, HR metrics, reporting relationships, year-end data, etc.

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Experience in HR applications: Ceridian HPL, Ceridian Dayforce, Kronos, SAP and SuccessFactors Employee Central

 Strong skills in office productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
