Proactively managing Gateway Learning Group’s national and/or local contracts and accounts with the highest level of efficiency and compliance.
Collaborating with cross-functional partners to develop account-centric strategies for payer, school district and/or government accounts and ensure alignment with Gateway’s strategies, goals and objectives.
Developing language and draft contracts and related documentation in accordance with governing laws, regulations and internal policies for Gateway contracting guidelines.
Obtaining all appropriate and required internal reviews and approvals for contract terms, provisions, and operational requirements.
Assist in the negotiations of contract terms and conditions.
Responding to various partner/stakeholder questions, inquiries, requests for clarification, etc. regarding contracts and terms/conditions or other items.
Ensuring execution of approved and finalized customer contracts. Includes timely and accurate hand-off to other internal partners/stakeholders.
Monitoring existing customer contracts using approved performance methodologies, tools, etc. Identifying and recommending opportunities for improvement.
Helping optimize Gateway's interests, mitigate business and financial risk, and deliver on key performance indicators that demonstrate value to our internal customers from all contract responsibilities.
Ensuring all contract data and information is appropriately entered into relevant systems/databases. Includes regular data review and maintenance to ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and compliance.
Working collaboratively with all internal/external partners and stakeholders; serving as a role model for other peers to follow.
Participating in or leading cross-functional or other project teams; taking a leadership role in appropriate projects.
Providing expert-level financial modeling, analysis and reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 6 years' professional industry experience, including 2 or more years' previous contract development or related experience
Bachelor's Degree (general business, managed health care, legal or finance disciplines are preferred)
MBA or other related graduate-level degree is a plus
Strong knowledge of the credentialing process and accreditation and regulatory standards. Ability to lead and facilitate processes through influence and collaboration.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and initiative to analyze and disseminate relevant credentialing data across internal company departments.
Ability to make priority determinations without direct supervision.
Informational research skills, with ability to analyze, interpret and draw inferences from research findings, and prepare reports.
Ability to use independent judgment to manage and impart confidential information.
Database management skills including querying, reporting, and document generation.
Working knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Strong organization and verbal communication skills, attention to details required.
Experience working in a rapid-paced startup environment, remaining focused and composed in stressful situations.
