Responsibilities

The patient care manager is responsible for the staffing and financial management of their assigned cost centers. They assure stewardship of resources and work with employees to use those resources appropriately. They are responsible for assuring that the staff is clinically competent and that quality outcomes are met. They work to develop staff through ongoing coaching and mentoring.

Education

Bachelor Degree required, master degree or enrolled in program preferred

Qualification/Skills

  • Previous clinical expertise in related field (3 years)

  • Demonstrated mentoring & coaching skills; demonstrated leadership skills, exceptional communication skills.

  • Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.

  • Current RN license from MN Board-approved School of Nursing, in good standing; Bachelors required, masters degree or enrolled in program preferred.

Work Schedule

The leadership role is primarily day shift, however, the leader should be flexible to round on evening and night shift employees.
