The Partnership Marketing Manager is responsible for assisting the Director of Financial Partnerships to create and implement strategies and programs with assigned partners in order to maximize value for MGM Resorts, our partners, members, and customers. The Partnership Marketing Manager cultivates relationships with partner contacts and communicates with partners and internal teams on a frequent basis.

The Manager will maintain a strong and productive relationship with partner, corporate, property, and vendor contacts. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts International policies, practices, and procedures.

  • Contributes to success of assigned financial partnerships such as the Gift Card program, American Express and MasterCard.
  • Creates marketing plans for assigned partners that include strategies, measurable objectives, and tactics.
  • Helps ensure achievement of program targets for acquisition / profitability and other KPIs
  • Collaborates with Director of Financial Partnerships to develop strategies for acquisition of new members and engagement of current members such as tier matching, multi-way earn / burn, loyalty currency exchange, etc.
  • Evaluates programs regularly by interpreting data, identifying trends, and making actionable recommendations for continual improvement
  • Partners with the Direct Marketing team to develop and execute campaigns for assigned partners.
  • Creates project plans and implements select departmental initiatives.
  • Creates strategic promotions with assigned partners
  • Partners with the Direct Marketing team to develop and execute campaigns for assigned partners.
  • Researches and recommends future program developments.
  • Ensures issues related to assigned programs are tracked and prioritized and follows through to resolution.
  • Maintains strong and collaborative relationships with partner contacts
  • Works closely with property, corporate, and partner contacts to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned


Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Hotel Administration, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in one of the following fields: loyalty marketing, partnership marketing, gaming industry, marketing, hospitality, or related field
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience within partnership marketing.
  • Previous experience working within a large loyalty program.
  • Specialized knowledge of multiple functional areas including loyalty, CRM, marketing, operations, technology, e-commerce, casino, finance, promotions, events, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience working with and leading project teams.
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
