Reports to: RVP, Emerging Partner Sales
Targeting, prospecting, recruitment and negotiating of new partners in Americas region for the Oracle | NetSuite business unit
The Channel Development Manager will handle all facets of partner recruitment for the Oracle | NetSuite Americas region focusing on growing the channel and alliances ecosystem in an assigned geographic territory
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong background in leveraging social media, phone and other engagement tools to build a sales pipeline
Exceptional business acumen and a strong desire to work within a partner ecosystem is critical to this role
Will demonstrate a keen ability to collaborate and foster strong internal business relationships with direct and channel sales, marketing, training and legal departments
Minimum of 1-year business development experience within a technology centric company
An understanding of both the legacy and cloud ERP landscape including competitive channel and alliance programs
Ability to travel as needed, < 10%
2-3 years business development experience, prefer 3 years of experience in a cloud technology or legacy ERP company
Knowledge of technology partner ecosystems including but not limited to Microsoft, SAP, Sage, Intacct
Knowledge of the Oracle | NetSuite suite of applications, market positioning and system architecture
Negotiating skills and ability to influence. Experience in negotiating contractual agreements and collaborating with legal teams
Previous exposure to partner enablement activities, learning paths
Experience with ERP applications is preferred but all strong technologists are encouraged to apply
NetSuite Partnership Development Manager - Central
Develops third party sales channel and ensures partner achieve Oracle sales targets in the General Business space.
As a Channel Sales Representative you will pull partners into Oracle business opportunities and manage third party transactions resulting from the relationship. Identify and develop channel partners committed to selling Oracle products. Facilitate joint selling between channel partners and direct sales team. Increase revenue from partner sources and market share through a leverage partnering model. Identify and develop joint \"go-to-market\" strategies and lead generation opportunities. Provides accurate and timely management information and revenue forecasts. May educate partners in Oracle commercial practices. Maintains an understanding of Oracle technology and articulates Oracle propositions to partners and their customers. Manage transaction contracts, business practices, and deal booking issues. Work with marketing to plan marketing events for partners.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years field sales experience within the high technology industry. Previous marketing experience desired. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Negotiating skills and ability to influence. Knowledge of Oracle field sales cycle and partner program. Ability to travel as needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.
Range and benefit information provided in this posting are Colorado-specific.
Colorado Pay Range: from $73,000 to $152,000 per annum eligible for bonus and equity.
