Partner Engineering is a highly technical team that works with our strategic partners to integrate Facebook solutions into their mobile platforms, apps, and devices. In this role, you will engage with some of the world's most influential companies and work closely with our world-class engineering and product teams. The ideal candidate will combine excellent technical and business skills to make our partners successful and improve our mobile and device offerings.

Required Skills:

  1. Be both a highly technical, hands-on coder and effective partner manager

  2. Deeply understand the Facebook platform and underlying implementation across mobile

  3. Define and execute on a strategy to drive adoption of the Facebook mobile platform

  4. Be a subject matter technical expert, and have strategic influence on partners and internal teams at Facebook

  5. Build relationships with strategically important partners in order to ensure their ongoing success using the Facebook platform

  6. Work closely with Facebook's product and engineering teams to ensure the right products are built to address the needs of partners

  7. Manage the relationship with the partner’s technical team

  8. Ensure great documentation and best practices are created to help partners launch and grow their business using the Facebook platform

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 4+ years of relevant industry experience - software engineering, technical consultancy, partner/sales engineering.

  2. Software development experience in languages such as Objective-C, Swift, Java, C/C++.

  3. iOS Software Development skills in both Objective-C and Swift.

  4. Functional source control skills.

  5. Experience with Git and acquainted with Mercurial.

  6. Experience with command line, Unix/Linux environments and working toolchain knowledge.

  7. Communications skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience

  2. Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10% of the time
