Position Summary

Generates new business and ensures growth of existing accounts. Assesses potential application of company products or services and offers solutions that meet customer needs. Researches and presents reports showing potential customers the cost benefit of purchasing company products or services. Provides technical training to clients and communicates customer feedback for future product developments. Uses technical knowledge of product offerings to support and build sales.

Essential to this PositionKey Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with assigned account managers to establish strategies, objectives and action plans as regards custom protective packaging for key accounts within territory
  • Drive new market development as well as new product introductions to targeted customer base
  • Provide Quotations within a timely manner while adhering to sound engineering principals and ISO compliance
  • Manage protective packaging design projects from initial design and proposal through customer service order point

Essentials for Success:

  • Experience in both sales and engineering processes required
  • Experience in returnable packaging and automotive preferred
  • Some experience with CAD software; 3D CAD preferred
  • Excellent communication with internal and external contacts
  • Possess strong problem solving skills and can prioritize to achieve deadlines in a fast pace environment
  • Frequent travel
