The Business Area Manager will be a key focal point and owner for application delivery activities on a large complex application portfolio. This person will lead individuals and teams by setting direction, communicating, and exhibiting effective leadership behaviors to manage delivery of services and processes. This person will also provide expert leadership to support team to meet those defined objectives according to the Delivery Project Executive, Partner, and Client needs. This person is well versed with RFP/RFI responses, preparing complex solution proposals and costing and pricing of solutions. Developing financial models that provide benefit to the client and alternatives for IBM leadership in decision making, including Demand & Supply and New Opportunity tracking process. The BAM must establish and execute the account management disciplines, business management processes, and associated reporting. The Business Area Manager will lead the delivery team for Services, SLA, PCRs. One of the key responsibility is to ensure all Service levels are met, confirm operational compliance with the contract. BAM will be responsible for promptly identifying and resolving any service delivery issues. BAM will have responsibility to manage budget and financials and deliver results as per the business directions set by the Delivery Project Executive. Must have capability to deliver base account growth through excellence in delivery and achieve high level of customer satisfaction, and increase IBM's presence in a challenging multi vendor Client environment.
