Lockton is seeking an experienced casualty Account Executive for its rapidly expanding National Account Practice. The individual will lead marketing, services and strategic consulting efforts with prospective and current clients. Collaboration and a willingness to support your colleagues is imperative, as is a true love for building and nurturing internal and external relationships.

Core Responsibilities:

•Offers expert coverage and risk management advice to assigned clients

oWorks closely with client to plan annual renewal strategy

oListens to client concerns, provide meaningful advice and agree on potential solutions

oInitiates/leads renewal efforts, including market negotiations

oIdentifies and focuses relevant resources to improve Total Cost of Risk

oManages the performance of the entire client service team, ensuring superior outcomes for our clients

•Develops and leads strategic consulting efforts

oUnderstands the client’s overall business, operations, macroeconomic environment, risks, and financial tolerance to offer the most relevant advice, products and service

oThinks critically and proactively discusses relevant riskfinance solutions with assigned clients

•Elevates and ensures consistency of work product

•Builds and maintains senior level carrier relationships necessary to drive outcomes or solve problems

•Works with Producers to develop and secure new business opportunities

•Leads cross functional teams on RFP and new business efforts

•Deepens relationships with existing clients, at all levels

•Provides visible leadership, both internally and externally; mentors and helps train less experienced team members

•Participates in perpetuating the Lockton Culture

oElevates and ensures consistency of work product

oContributes to a positive, respectful work environment

oRetains flexible, creative approach to solving client issues


Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA, CPCU preferred• A minimum of 10 years of progressive casualty brokerage/consulting experience• Significant network of global market and TPA relationships• Extensive knowledge of primary/excess liability, workers’ compensation, auto liability• Familiar with full spectrum of national account casualty rating plans and alternative risk products, including captives and integrated risk• Current P&C license or ability to obtain immediately• Exceptional oral/written communication skills; superior negotiation skills• Strong problem solving/client service skills—must be able to grasp broad business concepts, research complex issues and develop strategies linked to corporate objectives• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to instill confidence in clients and team• Professional/polished presence to represent Lockton in the highest professional manner• Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft and to stay for more than one day and night; ability to travel on short notice
