- Solicits quotes, sales orders and purchase orders from existing and new customers
- Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services.
- Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers.
- Builds and maintains customers? relationships.
- Prepares reports of business activities.
- Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
- Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
- Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talks with customers in person or by phone.
