The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining a solid customer base and promoting BMC goods and services available to builders and customers.
Responsibilities include identifying potential customers, generating sales opportunities through research of client needs, presenting sales proposals and quotes to clients, visiting client operations and building sites, field measuring and management of field problems and service issues. The individual in this position is responsible for effectively organizing their time and for developing methods to contact each client. The Outside Sales Representative will identify and respond actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers, and to participate as a team player in all phases of the organization.
The individual in this position is also responsible for the preparation of reports of business transactions as well as researching and developing local market information to assist with pricing strategy and budgeting. The Outside Sales Representative will research and provide product knowledge and may also make job-site deliveries as required.
