The Department of Orthopedics and Physical Rehabilitation at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, MA is currently seeking an academic BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon with trauma fellowship training. Candidates should possess strong academic credentials as well as a commitment to excellence and patient care, research and teaching. The Department of Orthopedics and Physical Rehabilitation offers physicians an extraordinary opportunity to work in a nationally recognized state of the art, high-volume practice as part of an American College of Surgeons certified Level 1 Trauma Center for adults and children. Our trauma team is staffed with fellowship-trained traumatologists. Our facilities include new, state of the art operating rooms, an Emergency Department built to accommodate over 100,000 patient visits per year, extensive imaging facilities and a life flight service based at our center.
