Job DescriptionHealthPartners is looking for an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join our Orthopedics Department. This position will be predominantly based at our TRIA locations in Stillwater, MN and Hudson, WI. As a Orthopedics Hand Surgeon, you will be part of the largest multi-specialty care system in the Twin Cities. The position requires board certification/board eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery with microsurgery and/or hand fellowship training or SOTH (CAQ in Surgery of Hand).
Highlights of this position include:
- HealthPartners is one of the University of Minnesota's largest teaching affiliates and is home to an ACGME accredited Hand fellowship training service. This position involves teaching plastic and orthopedic surgery residents, hand fellows and medical students.
- We anticipate this practice will be nearly completely hand surgery with the opportunity to be busy right away due to a large internal referral pool providing for a great case mix.
- Qualified candidates should have the ability to manage a wide variety of hand and wrist cases, including microvascular and complex reconstruction cases,
- As part of this position, you would join our orthopedic specialty group in covering general orthopedic call (approximately 1 in 11 nights) at a level 3 hospital
- Experienced and newly graduated surgeons are encouraged to apply.
