Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children is seeking a fellowship trained Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our Cerebral Palsy Division in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in Wilmington, DE.
The surgeon in this position will develop a practice focused on the treatment of patients with cerebral palsy and neuromuscular disease. The practice will include full orthopaedic management of hip, knee, spine and foot problems in this patient population. The treatment of spinal deformities and upper extremity surgical reconstructions are optional based on the individual’s interest. Our multi-disciplinary Cerebral Palsy Center is one of a very few in the Mid-Atlantic region dedicated solely to caring for children with cerebral palsy, seeing more than 3,000 children per year. The ideal candidate will have an interest in gait analysis and interpretation utilizing our state of art gait and motion laboratory.
Physician candidates must have completed an ABMS accredited Fellowship program in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Surgery.
