The Organizational Development Lead will support the development of a comprehensive organizational development and change management strategy for Stepan. Working directly with the Director of Talent Management, Learning and Organizational Development, and the HR Leadership Team, this individual will work to enhance organizational capability and towards creating a high-performance, sustainable organization that meets its strategic and operational goals. This role will certify a team of internal OD change and team effectiveness practitioners and will also act as a consultant to the HRBPs as needed.

• Employee engagement and culture surveys
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a menu of organizational development, high performing teams, and change management interventions to support team effectiveness as a critical component of business effectiveness.
Design, develop, and coordinate an internal Change and Team Effectiveness practitioner teams to assist teams in achieving team effectiveness and change management goals.
Work closely with HR Leaders and the Director of Talent Management, Learning and OD to identify change management and organizational development needs and design programs for implementation across the organization.
Serve as the project manager for employee engagement/culture assessments.
Manage vendor relationships.
Identify and apply a structured change management methodology - Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
Share insights organizational development, change and engagement insights based on analytics, benchmarking, etc.
Develop exceptional relationships and strong lines of communication across all businesses and the HR Function to allow for effective, on-going collaboration.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with demonstrated success in orchestrating Organizational Development and Change Management is required.
Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree preferred
Experience in the design, development and facilitation of organizational development interventions such as team building workshops is required.
Exceptional communication skills and experience in working with Senior Leadership
prior experience in cross geographic Organizations.
Qualified Candidates must possess a minimum of the following:
Certification in Change Management methodology is desired.
Analytical skills – the ability to review data and draw out key insights and recommendations
