  • Act as the technical SME on the Oracle OFSAA & HPCM solutions, and related components.
  • Develops and documents technical architecture, system design, performance test plans & results, and other technical aspects of the implementation.
  • Provides infrastructure sizing, including hardware and software requirements.
  • Proactively monitor and manage system components; Responsible for day-to-day availability and performance of the application and its related components.
  • Reactively lead & hands-on troubleshoot issues, including coordination across other support teams. Drive timely resolution & communication of issues.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot and / or tune product performance or deployment issues when required, either during implementation or post go-live
  • Production support responsibilities include immediate responsiveness during system down or system component down situations, to analyze root cause and restore system functionality.
  • Ensure appropriate upgrades & patches are understood, tested, communicated, and applied in production.
  • Perform backups & restore.
  • Lead and drive all admin related activities, and lead communication with all interested parties.
  • Help ensure close working relationship across dev, admin, infrastructure, user, and other teams we work closely with.
  • Ensure plans are aligned with strategy and stakeholder expectations are effectively managed.
  • Lead identification and execution of appropriate actions to help optimize our support model, and optimize automation where applicable.
  • Work with product vendor to ensure product use aligns with vendor best practices, ensuring product optimization, supportability, upgradability.
  • Share and apply best practices with peer admins, helping align practices across our products supported, as applicable.
  • Defines or assists with best practices during product implementation and integration.
  • May mentor junior team members.


  • 4 Year College Degree; Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 7+ Years Related Experience  
  • 3+ years - system performance analysis and tuning.
  • 5+ years - hands-on experience implementing and/or supporting enterprise product solutions, such as Oracle OFSAA, Hyperion, or similar enterprise solutions.
  • Ability to quickly dig-in to a production issue, determine root cause, and drive action to mitigate
  • Strong knowledge of web server, app server, DBMS.
  • Ability to establish relationships and work well with others
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Experience in Financial / Brokerage Industry
  • Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements list
  • PreferredSkills:
    • 3+ years - strong knowledge of Linux and shell scripting
    • 3+ years - hands-on experience with PL/SQL and writing stored procedure packages, including performance tuning.
    • 5+ years - hands-on experience with EPM solutions, specifically OFSAA, HPCM
    • 5+ years - hands-on experience with financial systems and data
    • 2+ years - hands-on experience with Tomcat, http server, Oracle DBMS.
    • Experience with brokerage data is a plus
