What you’ll do

We have an opening for a Technical Engineer II to join our Infrastructure & Operations – Application Hosting Services (AHS) team. As a member of the IT System’s team, you will develop strong and meaningful relationships throughout the Supply Chain Product ART and TJX IT Shared Services. This role will support pre-release Design and Engineering, new installation and deployment of WMS, EOM and other SupplyChain management systems.

As a Technical Engineer you will work within an Agile Release Train (ART) based on the Scalable Agile Framework (SAFe). Your responsibilities will include leading and performing DevOps activities to design, develop, deploy and support the DevOps tools that enable the Product ART’s continuous delivery pipeline. You will help to keep warehouse management systems current with cutting edge technology and help drive world class solutions for our Supply Chain team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in technology or information systems or equivalent work experience
• 1-3 years of software design, development, testing and implementation experience
• Understanding of monitoring high-uptime, resilient software systems
• Familiarity with security concerns in enterprise software
• Working knowledge of Application Techstack & RDBMS
• Working knowledge in Agile Framework (SAFe) and DevOps tools (Ansible Playbooks, GIT, XL Release, XL Deploy and Jenkins)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 Oracle Manhattan WMS/EOM implementations
• Broad knowledge in the area of DevOps tools and capabilities
• Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle within both the SAFe Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Solid understanding of Oracle Retail (MOM), Xstore (POS), Oracle EBS technologies
• Working familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
