Oracle Database Administrator Lead

You must relocate on your own accord for this direct hire, full time, salaried role. This position is a salaried role with a large Oracle environment. Cloud technology and Big Data will be taught if you are willing and interested! They are expanding the Oracle team for this role. Typical production database administrative duties make up the majority of the roles and responsibilities. If you have at least 5+ years of current and latest (12c, 11g) Oracle DBA experience, then this role should be considered a great option for you to consider.
Duties: Performance tuning and monitoring is the most important aspect of this large database farm Provide 24x7 support for Oracle environment Install, upgrade and patch Oracle databases. Create, maintain, monitor and control Oracle databases. Troubleshoot database performance issues, identify and tune poorly performing pl/SQL statements. Project database growth trends and assist in database and server capacity analysis. Communicate regularly with internal technical, application, and operational staff, as appropriate, in order to ensure database integrity, security and availability. Assist development staff with application design and efficient use of database technology.
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science related discipline or equivalent education and/or experience.
-US Citizen or Green Card holder -Oracle 12c, 11g experience required (older versions are fine, but current is most important)
-Minimum of 4/5 years of commercial database administration in Unix or Windows environment
-Knowledge of programming and performance tuning using PL/SQL, triggers, procedures and JDBC -Oracle RAC
-Knowledge of operating systems, machine organization, systems design and management. Bonus Points / NOT Required
-Professional DBA Certification on a commercial database platform (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional)
-Hands on experience with multiple versions of appropriate commercial database platform
-Knowledge of ER modeling tools and techniques -Knowledge of Service Oriented Architectures and technologies like SOAP as well as other web standards
