The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.
The candidate will be responsible for the design and development of a high power beam delivery system for use in our next generation of photomask inspection tools.
Working in close collaboration with the source and systems group, the candidate will create and validate the specifications and subsystem requirements.
In addition to the design, the candidate will own the alignment, test processes, and documentation for use in a manufacturing environment.
When the optical design is complete, the candidate will work with suppliers to deliver a production assembly and will also design metrology and define control mechanisms for beam delivery to meet precision beam steering and positioning requirements.
