CenturyLink and the Operations Transformation & Automation team is on a mission to transform how business operations in Telecom are done. Our goal is to transform our operations to become an industry leader in Consumer & Enterprise field operations. The Operations Transformation Program Lead will be driving this transformation by leading and executing multiple projects through ideation, planning, prioritization, trial to scale, and full deployment across one or more key domain areas of our business transformation program. The Main Responsibilities
This role requires a unique combination of drive and energy, an attitude of making the impossible possible, leading others through their passion, influence, and sound business acumen. Someone with the ability to see the big picture but also dive deep into details and experience in managing initiatives with advanced technical components such as AI/ML, automation, and optimization. The main responsibility of this role includes creating, maintaining, and delivering a pipeline of projects from ideation thru execution, in one or more of our key domain/program areas. Ensuring we are working on the right projects, moving fast, driving real transformation, and delivering hard dollar benefits back to the business. Keeping projects on track, on budget and maintaining our fail fast or scale culture.
To be successful in this role you must be a leader in your field, as well as a true team player. Building and maintaining strong relationships and partnerships within and outside our organizational will be pivotal to success. You will provide thought leadership and consultation to senior leaders in best practices and end to end process design with a robust understanding of technology solutions and change management to lead large scale programs across one or more of our 5 major domains:
1. Technology enablement
2. Fallout automation
3. Planning & Forecasting
4. Routing optimization
5. Performance & quality
What We Look For in a Candidate
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education with 8-12+ years related experience.
Experience in managing emerging/advanced technologies including ML/AL, automation, robotic process automation.
Experience in deploying enterprise solutions as a Project Manager, Product Manager, Product Owner, Team Lead, Scrum Master in a client services business.
Participated in Agile transformation or application of Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) on software development projects.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as solid knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.
Very effective interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.
Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels, including the executive level.
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
Ability to translate business needs and challenges into people, process & technology solutions with clear requirements and next steps.
Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view.
Hands-on experience in data analytics, data visualization, business intelligence, and reporting.
Strong analytical acumen, intellectual curiosity, creativity, a proven work ethic, and solid communication skills.
