The Marketing Operations Manager supports the Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer (SVP, CMO) by overseeing the operations of the Marketing department in order to create greater efficiencies, manage the department’s workflow and drive continuous process improvement. This individual will be responsible for leading processes & managing work-flow across all marketing touchpoints, including internal and external partners, to ensure projects are prioritized, scoped, assigned & delivered on time; as well as manage strategic projects, conduct research, analyze data and track progress against key departmental objectives.

  • Manage the Marketing workflow across all Marketing touchpoints to ensure projects are properly prioritized, scoped, assigned and delivered on time
  • Ensure adherence to Marketing processes and protocol, including review and acceptance criteria and processes
  • Manage the departmental budget and budget planning process and work closely with finance and accounting teams to properly forecast marketing expenditures throughout the year
  • Oversee capacity and demand planning for the Marketing team and collaborate with delivery teams and brand managers to plan and deliver work within budget and deadline
  • Analyze and standardize campaign reporting for digital and traditional campaigns, verifying that target KPIs are established up front and then reported on in the agreed upon timeframe
  • Provide strategic and data-driven insights to the SVP, CMO and provide regular updates on marketing initiatives, prioritization, work volume and project status
  • Project manage enterprise Marketing programs, including marketing automation programs
  • Manage vendors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and that project delivery is completed efficiently on time and within established budget parameters
  • All other duties as assigned

Required Experience

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing traffic management, capacity and demand planning and process development and management
  • Strong analytical skills (including proficiency of Microsoft Excel) and experience with reporting and data analysis
  • Budget management and forecasting experience for complex organizations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes
  • Proficiency in marketing automation systems and working with IT partners to integrate those systems with other technologies and databases
