Job Description

McDonald's Corporation, one the most recognized brands in the world, is looking to fill an Operations Technology Lead position for the USIT Restaurant Solutions Group.  The selected person for this role will lead a team of employees and consultants responsible for understanding and conveying business needs from an Operations / Business perspective and translating these needs into features and functionality.  

A strong restaurant operations background, accompanied by familiarity with Point-Of-Sale functionality will be necessaryfor this position.

• Ability to bring in new and fresh ideas to improve and enhance existing processes
• Strong collaboration and communications skills, both written and verbal, and active listening traits
• Ability to build relationships within the department as well as with other business partners.  
• Creates and/or reviews applicable field test training materials.  Ensures material is intuitive and has targeted the appropriate audience  
• Develop and coach new talent  
• Ability to train and bring new employees/consultants up to speed on technology and processes  
•Provide frequent feedback to the team to increase productivity, improve performance and develop skill sets 

Minimum Requirements


Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university is REQUIRED  
• 3+ years of Business Analyst experience  
• 2+ years of experience working with Point-of-Sale  
• Ability to provide business and operational guidance on business requirements, change requests, and technical designs for current functionality and future enhancements 


• Preferred experience with IT Software Development Life Cycle for both Waterfall and Agile
• Previous McDonald’s experience is a plus
• Work with minimal oversight  
• Ability to lead and collaborate with a diverse work group  
• Must be capable of prioritizing requirements based upon Business / Deployment needs  
• Proven ability to effectively self-direct and prioritize multiple 
projects  /issues with a high degree of complexity in a fast paced and changing environment  
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Visio  
• Excellent time management skills  
• Ability to solicit and communicate business expectations and build strong Client and Stakeholder relationships  
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.  Must demonstrate ability to communicate complex concepts to our Business Partners and Leadership
